Introducing the Coast Range Collective Extension — Member Deals While You Shop (Beta Testers Wanted)

We've been building something for the Collective, and it's finally ready for a first group of members to put through its paces.
Meet the Coast Range Collective browser extension — a small, quiet tool that lives in your Chrome/browser toolbar and does one job well: it makes sure that when you shop the outdoor and hunting brands we partner with, you get the member deals you're owed, and the Collective earns commission. That commission is what funds our membership programs and the conservation work at the heart of CRC.
We're opening a beta tester program now, and we'd love for you to be part of it. Here's what the extension does, why it matters, and how to get in.
What it does
When shopping online, the extension checks for one thing: whether the store you're browsing is a CRC partner. When it is, it lights up and gives you everything relevant to that brand in one place — deals, member codes, and the opportunity to help fund wildlife conservation while supporting the Collective (at no additional cost to you).
1. Partner perks and discounts right when you land
Land on a brand we partner with and the extension recognizes it, and shows you exactly what's available. No hunting through email for a code, no wondering whether your purchase supports CRC — it just works in the background.
Land on a partner store like Peax Equipment and the On Site tab confirms "Member deals unlocked" with affiliate tracking activated for that visit — plus any CRC write-ups about the brand.

2. Member discount codes, unlocked for the Collective
Sign in with your Coast Range Collective account and the extension unlocks member-only discount codes. Each one has a Copy & Shop button that copies the code and opens the store with your discount ready to use. Search by brand to find what you need fast.

3. Curated CRC Deals, right in the popup
Browse the deal write-ups our team curates for members — filtered by category like Hunting, Fishing, Camping, and Overlanding — without leaving the page you're on. Tap through to read the full story on the CRC site.

4. Every partner, in one list
Not sure which brands are in the program? The Partners tab lists every partner merchant with a quick search, so you can jump straight to a store and shop with attribution in a single click.

Why it matters
- You save money. Member codes and partner deals surface automatically on the stores you already shop — no digging required.
- The Collective earns. When you shop through activated links, CRC may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those commissions fund our membership programs and wildlife conservation initiatives.
- It lands you on the right page. "Shop" links carry attribution and open the product you were looking at — not just a homepage.
- It's quiet and respectful. The extension only activates on known CRC partner stores. It doesn't track your general browsing, and it doesn't sell your data.
A note on privacy
We built this to be minimal by design. The extension reads the current browser tab's domain only to check whether you're on a partner store, sets a short-lived activation marker on partner sites so purchase tracking can complete, and — if you choose to sign in — keeps a short-lived member session so it can show your codes. It does not sell your personal information or use your data for advertising. The full Extension Privacy Policy spells out exactly what's collected and why.

Become a beta tester
We're looking for a small group of members to install the extension, shop like you normally would, and tell us what works and what doesn't. As a beta tester you'll:

- Help us confirm deals and codes fire correctly across the brands you shop
- Shape the roadmap with your feedback on what to add next
